Novanity Sistema de RPG

NOVanity é um sistema de interpretação de papéis (RPG) inspirado nas aventuras de fantasia clássicas, em sistemas narrativistas e no movimento OSR (Old School Renaissance), remodelando mecânicas ultrapassadas e modernizando o jogo para ganhar uma conotação mais realista, tematicamente neutra e mundana.

Esse é um sistema inspirado em jogos tradicionais (OSR e pulp) como Advanced Dungeons&Dragons 1e e 2e, GURPS, Rolemaster, e outros mais vanguardistas, como Sword&Scoundrel. Ele busca simular, com riqueza de detalhes, cenários e aventuras ambientadas entre a idade antiga e a renascença (até o séc. 17).

Ele é neutro, pois não tem temática ou cenário determinado por seu material, modular, pois pode ser jogado sem uma ou mais mecânicas, e realista, pois roda sem grande dificuldade baseando-se somente na razoabilidade e lógica dos jogadores.

NOVanity is a role-playing game (RPG) system inspired by classic fantasy adventures, narrativist systems, and the OSR (Old School Renaissance) movement. It reworks outdated mechanics and modernizes gameplay to achieve a more realistic, thematically neutral, and grounded tone.

This system draws inspiration from traditional games (OSR and pulp) such as Advanced Dungeons & Dragons 1st and 2nd Editions, GURPS, Rolemaster, as well as more avant-garde titles like Sword & Scoundrel. It aims to simulate, in rich detail, scenarios and adventures set between Antiquity and the Renaissance (up to the 17th century).

It is neutral, as it does not impose a predefined theme or setting; modular, as it can be played with or without certain mechanics; and realistic, as it functions smoothly based primarily on the players’ sense of reason and logic.
